Today I have mostly been making......

...... this.. :)

I wanted to get involed with Craftalicious Challenges - challenge number 5 - make your own flowers I love being challenged to MAKE something from scratch so this was ideal. I decided to make my flowers from Fimo, as its basically my signature! and not something I'm tending to see used on cards often (which is such a shame!)

I decided to combine this challenge with the latest Flutterby Wednesday challenge #116 - use a butterfly, fairy or angel AND your favorite color. From this I decided to make my flowers in nice apricot colours, which I carried through to the fairy in the middle.

Using a fairy also combined nicely with the One stitch at a time challenge this week, which is challenge # 25 - Mystical so I am entering this card into this challenge too.

Fairy Fun Friday set the challenge #31 - frame it in a circle, so I did :D and will be entering this challenge too.

I am also entering it into Cute Card Thursdays - challenge 124 - with their subject of "whateva"

I stamped the image "Fairy Tots- by Woodware" and embossed. I have then coloured using my favourite Inkytencils ( aka Inktense pencils) which I simply cant get enough of!!! I have then highlighted the wings with stickles and glossy accents.

I followed the apricot colour scheme for the fairy tot too!

I really need to try and STOP cardmaking for a few days and get on with some model making again, I'd hoped this card would wet my appitite for it again as I have orders coming out my ears for cake toppers, door plaques and the like, but it would seem no as I've already spotted the next challenge I want to play in, groan!! one of these days I wont leave all my work til the last second lol, til then I'll just keep on crafting hey ;)

Hope you like the card, and thanks for stopping by :)

Bye for now Naomi xx
